Attributing beauty only to skin color is
the concept promoted by Racism and Capitalism
When White man consider himself as
beautiful contrary to the black, similarly when Aryan Race considers themselves
as superior to Indigenous people. These two groups are power holders in
respective time frames in Human civilizations.
As in most of the social contexts, the masses
will look at the power holders (Economic, Social, Cultural Powers) and try to imbibe
and value what the power holders possesses. Here the origin of white color as
beauty can be seen.
However with the advent of Capitalistic
mode of advertisements, in order to promote their cosmetic products, the
capitalists have been using the social preference of color.
If we look at Anjata Paintings, we see
the Beauty lies in Black, which is magnificently glowing color.
And Some other forms of Beauty are
Capitalistic
Beauty:
Promoting material objects as beauty the more goods, the costly goods, the more
beautiful.
Patriarchal
Beauty:
describes women as beautiful, considering her as private property of Man, and
making her an object
Religious
Beauty:
the believers consider Gods as the most beautiful, without actually understanding
nirankara from of God promoted by all religions.
Natural Beauty: Nature has one
of the most fascinating objects of beauty, however with pre-occupied notion of
beauty in Material goods and Women beauty, most of the human being don’t have
time to recognize it
Soul Beauty: Universal and
Unique. This aspect of beauty lies in every living being. However the being, as
mentioned above, is pre-occupied and not realizing the beauty Within.
