I am standing in water but I am very thirsty

Well.... the idea is taken from http://ccrtindia.gov.in/literaryarts.php -- It says: "I am standing in water but I am very thirsty"

I have interpreted it through my understanding of Dvaitādvaita Philosophy of Nimbarka and Karma Philosophy of Bhagavadgita

Dvaitādvaita Philosophy says: Atma and Paramatma are same yet they are different. (This concept is also present in Islam and Christianity in one way or the other)

Karma Philosophy of Bhagavadgita: Every one is destined to do certain Karma (Work) ;

If they do the destined Karma which is reflected in Soul Vision, their thirst will be satisfied. Else they would be dominated by Mind Vision and doing some other Karma. Even though they accomplish Mind Vision, the thirst will not be satisfied, like the man in water still has thirst.

This internal Contradiction b/w Atma (Soul) and Manasu (Mind) leads to dissatisfaction. Thus it leads to Alienation of the Soul.

According  to above two philosophies, though material possessions are necessary, they will not satisfy the thirst of Soul.

Hence, Identify what is your soul vision, which satisfies your thirst; try keep doing it.

Note: In a Democratic Environment, any Idea can be Questioned, Criticized, Opposed and Rejected!!!
